Setting up the habitat
We found a worm on the concrete in the Magic Garden and wanted to make a home for him.We put soil, leaves, flowers and sticks in a terrarium and then added the worm. A cricket joined the worm in our habitat. The next day, we read the book Log Hotel, and talked about what else we could add to our habitat. We went on a nature walk and looked for things that would decompose and make our worm feel at home. We added more leaves, sticks, a sunflower, a small pumpkin and some rocks. We are going to add more worms and watch our habitat to see what happens.
